Artistic residency at Kilani Group by Sofia El Mokhtar
Kilani Group was delighted to host Sofia Mokhtar's “Héroïne” artistic residency at La Boîte.
The artist's Happenings within the company gave rise to photo and video traces, as well as texts, poems, drawings and vocal and sound recordings.
This corpus of images and texts took the form of a fanzine featuring the productions produced, which was presented to all Groupe Kilani staff.
The artist explores the question of feminist emancipation through her work, particularly in performances as grotesque as “La Bambina”.
